About us
Nestled on 55 acres of bushland & rainforest in the mountainous regions of Coffs Harbour NSW, our farm is a place of calm, natural beauty, and simple living. Hi, we are Keely & Casey we wanted to get back to our grassroots, to live sustainably, grow our own food, and care for animals in a way that respects the land and our animals. Each day is shaped by the rhythm of nature tending to the garden, caring for our flocks, and enjoying the quiet joys of farm life.
Our purebred heritage chickens Australorp, Light Sussex, Golden Laced Wyandotte & Welsummer are managed in separate breeding groups to maintain pure bloodlines. Each breeding group enjoys a full day of free-ranging on a rotational roster, giving them plenty of time to roam, scratch, forage, dust-bathe, and soak up the sunshine on our fresh, chemical-free property. Rotating our flocks provides natural enrichment, keeps the ground healthy, and allows each group to express their natural behaviours while ensuring our breeding lines remain carefully managed. Keeping a watchful eye over it all is Lady, our loyal Maremma × Border Collie, who calmly patrols the property, helping protect the flock while they happily spend their days exploring.

1. About Our Eggs
While we take great care to collect and pack only fresh, fertile eggs, we cannot guarantee hatch rates. Many factors affect hatching success, including shipping, handling, incubator settings, and storage — all of which are out of our control once eggs leave the farm.
2. Posting & Packaging
We ship in egg-safe foam cartons and ship via Australia Post Express monday - Friday.
please note - As our eggs are freshly laid and fertilised, there may sometimes be a short wait while we allow our hens time to lay and fill existing orders. All orders are posted as fresh as possible to give you the best chance of hatch success. We are not responsible for delays, damage in transit, or handling by Australia Post.
3. Refunds & Returns
fertile eggs are a perishable product, we do not offer returns or refunds for eggs that do not hatch.
4. Your Responsibility
When buying fertile eggs from Feather & Flock, you accept the risks involved in shipping and hatching fertile eggs. It is your responsibility to:
- Store and handle eggs carefully once received
- Use a good quality incubator with correct settings
- Understand that hatch rates can vary
